Danube River Cruise

Travel the Blue Danube Together
April 18 – May 2, 2026

Members of the NWCCA community are invited to join Rebecca and Ruth and sail for ten nights on a comprehensive four-country journey with the Grand Circle Cruise Line along the Danube. Founded in 1958, Grand Circle and its companion organization, Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT), are among the leaders in providing guided tours for older adults.

Before embarking on the 162-passenger M/S River Adagio, spend three nights in the Grandior Hotel Prague or a similar accommodation. There are also optional extensions at either the beginning of the trip (five nights in Warsaw and Krakow, Poland) or at the end (three nights in Budapest).

Stroll along the fairytale streets of Old World Prague, taste the local flavors of Vienna’s famed Naschmarkt, explore Bratislava’s quirky art scene, and feast your eyes on the detailed Art Nouveau architecture of Budapest. Local Program Directors, provided by Grand Circle, will accompany our group to offer insider knowledge and an enriching perspective.

Unless you choose to make your own flight arrangements, the pricing includes international airfare from Seattle, airport transfers, government taxes, fees, and airline fuel surcharges. However you get there, the trip includes thirty-three meals, eleven guided tours, and one home-hosted visit. Included as well are gratuities for local guides and motorcoach drivers, all port charges, and baggage handling for one piece of luggage per person, including tips.
